"Computer science is no more about computers than astronomy is about telescopes." - Edsger Dijkstra. As a software engineer with strong theoretical backgrounds, I believe in the (positive) power of algorithms, digitization, and technical progress.
During my bachelor’s studies at the University of Konstanz I got in touch with the blockchain technology and started to work at OriginStamp. For my master’s studies at the University of Konstanz I aimed for something different and dove into the theoretical parts of Computer Science, naming algorithmic issues and analysis.
Apart from my studies at the university, I gained practical experience in various fields. Starting with the development of a customer management software at Bridge-BBS, I continued implementing user interfaces and interactions for micro controllers at Beck Kommunikationselektronik. Additionally, I have built up a new server infrastructure and a website from scratch at Moser GmbH. Finally, I witnessed the foundation of OriginStamp and, together with my colleagues, worked on establishing a Scrum workflow. I have also taken responsibility for important parts of the timestamping process, namely the blockchain interaction. As a Software Architect with Management Function (prior Software Engineer) at OriginStamp, I have thrived when facing new challenges every day. Taking it to the next level, I am responsible for the Software Development and people at OriginStamp and swiDOC now. Managing and organizing development and maintenance also on a strategic level, the role of the CTO perfectly fits my strengths.
